My journey began at PetSmart, where I gained valuable experience before moving through both large corporate salons and smaller grooming businesses.

Loud, fast-paced salons can easily overwhelm anxious dogs and increase the risk of mistakes, stress, and lack of individualized care.

As a groomer, I always believed every dog deserves patience, compassion, and a calm grooming experience tailored to their individual needs. When I advocated for safety concerns or requested additional time for fearful pets, I was often met with pressure to work faster rather than work better. Over time, the physical and emotional strain of these environments led to serious back and hand pain that still affects me today.
